Strikers 1 Coach for 2010

Nathan Ball has been appointed as Strikers 1 Coach for 2010. Find out more about him here


Turf Competition

Turf training is from 8-9pm on Thursday nights on Pitch 2 Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre.

Fitness training is being held from 7:00pm.

ML1/2 competition will start on Sunday 21st March 2010. ML4,5,6 competition will start on Sunday 28th March 2010


Grass Competition

Grass registration has  been held. There are still a few places left in these teams, please contact us if you would like to play.

Training is being held on Tuesday nights at Barton Park, North Parramatta from 7:30-8:30pm.

The competition will start on Saturday 10th April 2010.

Strikers AGM was held on Wednesday 25th November 2009. Key positions for 2010 have been filled, but  there are still several positions vacant. Please consider if you are able to fill any of them, or maybe get a member of your family to be involved. So far, our committee is as follows:

 Sponsorship

Strikers Women's Hockey Club would be happy to hear from anyone who would be interested in sponsoring our club. At present, our players have to pay for all costs involved, including turf fees, hire of grounds, purchase of equipment, costs of coaches and umpires. As many of our players are young people who are students and only have part-time employment, this makes it difficult for some players to continue to participate in the sport.
